"One of the UK's biggest soul & funk DJs" - Craig Charles, BBC Radio 6 Music
Driven by support from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Quantic, Rob Da Bank, Nightmares On Wax, Huey Morgan, Don Letts, The Nextmen, Jeremy Sole, Lauren Laverne, Tim ‘Love’ Lee and most prominently Craig Charles, Sam Redmore has built a name for himself over the last few years for crafting soul-drenched remixes and reworks of both solidified classics and lesser-known material.
Originally purpose-built for inclusion in his DJ sets - which can range from cumbia, afrobeat, samba, funk and reggae through to house, broken beat, disco and everything in between - his reworkings of classics by the likes of Bob Marley, Q-Tip, Masters At Work and Stevie Wonder have found their way into the record boxes of discerning DJs worldwide.
For the last couple of years Sam has been locked in the studio cooking up his debut album of original material. With said album nearing completion and set for release later in the year, expect a full live show in a town near you soon.
